The UC Merced Undergraduate Research Journal is managed through a class of undergraduates of all different majors. It is a two unit course and offers students a way to develop professional skills. Students coordinate the journal’s editorial flow and manage stages of submission, including layout. Students engage author inquiries and editorial board suggestions for sustainably producing the journal, engaging a range of content, layout, and ethical concerns for publication.

Space for the class is extremely limited, Course Name is WRI 131C and is offered every semester for undergraduates.
